本會特敬導師基督。祂生活在聖體內，生活在福音裡，生活在教會中，也生活在本會之間；因為本會的職責是施教：「往訓萬民。」……
整個本會，以耶穌聖體、恭讀福音、靜觀導師耶穌的美表來生活。在本會面前，展開著一條寬廣、無止境的康莊大道。聖保祿已把這種敬禮和這條道路加以說明了。
將我們完全奉獻給耶穌，以整個的基督來生活；這就是我們的神修。在諸使徒之后聖母瑪利亞的保護之下，以及按照她和聖保祿的精神，以這種神修來生活。聖母和聖保祿最正確地闡釋了導師的精神，也最完善地以這精神為生。
這就是本會主要的敬禮：耶穌導師、道路、真理和生命。我們應該瞻仰祂，靜觀祂全部的面貌。祂給自己作了各種不同的說明：「我是世界的光，」「我是葡萄樹，」「我是善牧。」不過，這些話都祇表示片面的耶穌。祂在給自己作出一個完整的定義時，卻說：「我是道路、真理和生命。」（若廿四 6）
聖保祿說：「我的生活是基督。」他又說：「我生活，已不是我生活，而是基督在我內生活。」（迦 二20）
讓道路、真理和生命的基督，在我們內生活吧！這樣，不再是人在願意、思想和愛，而是耶穌基督在人內思想、行動和愛。……為能使耶穌基督完全重新出現在我們內，必須信祂的話，效法祂的榜樣，活祂的生活。
基督不僅是一條法定的道路，而是通往天主的唯一之路。今天，耶穌基督仍在祂的奧體 ˍ 教會內，繼續進行著祂導師的職務。……
所以，沒有比做這個神聖教會的子女，和聽教的門徒，更健全而有益的事，為能學識她所教的一切，聽從她的指導，接受一切成聖的方法。
導師這個概念，對每一個人和整個人類來說，完全充分地實現於基督身上。祂說：「我是道路、真理和生命。」教宗聖良一世寫道：「如果我們不肖似耶穌基督，那麼我們就枉然稱為基督信徒了。祂之自稱為道路，為的是要使導師的生活，成為門徒的楷模。」這種效法耶穌基督的行動，包括整個的人：理智、情感和意志。
為我們最好的虔敬，是那種能使我們日益認識、熱愛、追隨和讚美導師的虔敬；它也能使我們日益認識、效法、祈求、孝愛使徒之后，並為她熱誠服務；而且它還能使我們以聖保祿的精神去研究、認識、熱愛、效法、服務、祈禱和熱誠工作。
