耶穌基督從誕生直到升天，因聖德的榜樣，成為我們的道路。如同聖保祿所說的，耶穌的誕生是自我貶抑。在馬槽裡、納匝肋、公開生活、苦難與死亡也不例外。誰願效法耶穌基督，要深入探索祂，效法祂的生活與祂全面的德行。『跟隨我的人，必不在黑暗中行走。』耶穌是領導我們走向永生的光。
耶穌基督啟示自己是真理：特別在山中聖訓、真福的勸諭裡，祂綜合全德的倫理。耶穌啟示給我們信仰的奧秘：天主聖三、聖體聖事、救贖工程、祂的奧體、肉身復活等等。四部福音多麼美啊！連最出名的作家也不能與福音中的一章內容相媲美。甚至教會的聖師或其他的作者也都不能與之相比。『神貧的人是有福的。』
耶穌基督是生命：祂藉著十字架的死亡為我們贏得了生命。教會透過聖洗、聖體等等，把這生命賜給我們。在天堂這生命會產生享見天主、擁有天主、永遠分享天主的喜樂。
藉著整個的人，思想、意志與情感的聖化，人在現世的生活，是天堂的預示。
因為天堂就是享見天主、擁有天主、永遠分享天主的喜樂。信
仰、完全接受導師的教導，使我們獲得在將來享見天主。效法耶穌的言、行，所活出的德行，使我們將來擁有天主的恩典。因著恩寵，分享耶穌十字架的功勞，與基督結合，將來能獲享天主的喜樂。我們每個人按其功德獲享賞報。永福是耶穌基督的恩寵，超性生命的結果。
人靈來到審判者耶穌基督跟前，耶穌會看到人心內的肖像，祂會帶領人到天父跟前，那天父會看到耶穌基督親自刻上的三位一體天主的印記，祂會充滿喜悅，而人靈會永遠歌唱：「光榮歸於父、及子、及聖神。」
一些具體的方法
1) 深入信仰；求天主加強我們的信仰；全心愛慕並事奉天主。天主創造我們的首要目的，是為在世上認識祂。因此，我們需要不斷的追尋並認識祂。聖奧斯定會在聖體龕前逗留長時間，思考天主的奧秘，然後書寫下來……。他關於天主有不少的作品，即使一生也不足以默想完他的著作；然而奧斯定仍尚未研究完天主，因為天主是無限，永遠研究不完的。認識天主是從基本要理開始，因為要理是最簡扼的天主論：三位一體的天主、耶穌的誕生、救贖、教會、恩寵……。逐年要越來越研究、深入信仰的基本真理。因此要重視要理書。神學就是要理之書的擴充。要認識聖經，尤其是福音、倫理、靈修、神祕學、奉獻生活……
2)按照耶穌導師、道路、真理及生命的方式作默想。朝拜聖體；省察也採用相同的靈修方式定志；參與感恩聖祭：準備領聖體、領聖體後感謝。
3) 從月退省及年退省要達到怎樣的效果呢？就是：死於舊人，活於新人−耶穌基督導師、道路、真理及生命。藉著信仰生活，效法基督與祂結合。
4) 最好的方式是跟隨教會的禮儀年。教會透過禮儀−−聖神的書；繼續耶穌托付給她的使命：你們往普天下去教導人，並因父、及子、及聖神之名給他們付洗，並傳授給他們我所教導的一切。
5) 誰是完美的會士？！是那徹底在他內活出耶穌基督的生活者。如此，他的信仰更純正、更具體；他不只效法基督所吩咐的一切，也會跟隨基督所指示的勸諭；他完全實行「基督在我內生活。」
6) 我們的修會是教導的修會。因為修會的目標是賜給世界耶穌基督；祂的信理、道德觀、敬禮。諸宗徒之后瑪利亞把整個的基督帶給牧羊人、三王、世界。只有整個的基督能重整一切。整個的基督是復活、生命、世界的救贖。
我們的使徒工作必須是完整的並聖化人靈。
