我們人生之旅，如同福音中，嚮往厄瑪烏的兩位門徒之旅（參路二四13-35）。當生活遇到挫折時，為了避免現實，我們自然地，會想逃到某個地方去：有人會到聖堂去，或是找一個安靜的地方，有人去旅行、或是把自己關在房間裡……。無論何方，都是每一個人的「厄瑪烏」之旅。
在這旅途上，我們會遇見復活的主耶穌，不是我們存心尋找祂，而是祂曉得我們的需要，因此祂就來到我們身邊，與我們同行。但我們卻不認識祂，如同兩位門徒不認得耶穌一樣，因為，也許祂是你我的摯友、家人、同伴……，也可能祂是在路上所遇到的某個陌生人，或是突如其來的一位客人……。
復活的主耶穌藉著不同的人、事、物與你我相遇，祂以柔和的愛幫助我們走出黑夜，開啟我們的耳目，使我們看到祂復活所帶來的新生命，燃起我們內心的熱火，激勵我們往前走，因祂的恩寵重新開始並活出愛。
願復活的主耶穌，陪伴我們的「厄瑪烏」之旅，帶領我們走出自己的黑暗，並在復活之光中生活。阿們。
