Canon Chiesa was the Godfather of the Pauline Family. From him we received the doctrine, the spirit, and guidance; he was the daily support for many years, in various forms. His life was exceptional and heroic in every virtue; his zeal was shown to every person and every initiative (UPS IV, 7).
