聖方濟‧沙雷說：「如果他們讚美你，請不要理會；如果他們鄙視你，請不要介意。」不作繭自縛，反要繼續走你的路，時常邁向天堂，讓自己只被真理、正義和對聖潔的渴望所引導。(Pr 1, 103)

Dice S. Francesco di Sales: «Non far caso se ti lodano e non far caso se ti disprezzano». Non disturbarsi, continuare la propria via, camminare sempre verso il cielo, lasciarsi guidare solo dalla verità, dalla giustizia e dal desiderio di santità (Pr 1, 103).

Dice san Francisco de Sales: «No hagas caso si te alaban y no hagas caso si te desprecian». No hay que turbarse, sino continuar la propia vereda, caminar siempre hacia el cielo, dejarse guiar solo por la verdad, la justicia y el deseo de santidad (Pr 1, 103).

St Francis de Sales says: «Pay no attention if they praise you and pay no attention if they despise you». Do not disturb yourself, continue your way, always walk towards heaven, let yourself be guided only by truth, justice and the desire for holiness (Pr 1, 103).
