天主是愛；促進仁愛及合一精神的人是屬於天主、做天主事的人。分裂的精神不出自天主。讓我們在主內多多建樹。 God is love; and one who promotes the spirit of love and unity is from God and fulfils the works of God. The spirit of division is not of God (CISP, p. 30).

以下這些徵兆與記號可看出我們是否有愛：思想傾向好的，往好的方面解釋，並體諒他人的犯錯。（APD56, 149） The sign by which we can be recognized if we really have love, is this: to be inclined to think of what is good, to deduce well and even to excuse mistakes (APD56, 149).
